CO-creating COastal Resilience (COCOR)

The CO-creating COastal Resilience (COCOR) project combines scientific monitoring, citizen science and community engagement to investigate coastal change and the effectiveness of dune restoration at Tyrella Beach, Co. Down. The project aims to support coastal resilience while highlighting the role of sand dunes as natural coastal defences and valuable ecosystems.

COCOR is funded through the Coast-R Network Small Grants Fund and is delivered by GSNI in partnership with the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
