Geological Survey of Northern Ireland
The Geological Survey of Northern Ireland is an office of the Department for the Economy, Northern Ireland and is staffed by scientists from the British Geological Survey. We provide geoscience data and advice to Northern Ireland's government and other stakeholders.
Data and maps
GSNI holds an extensive archive of maps, boreholes and site investigation reports; urban and regional geochemical and geophysical data, and physical collections. We provide access to these data through web portals such as the GSNI GeoIndex, Open Data NI and Spatial NI.
