GSNI Strategy

GSNI's strategy, 'Geoscience for a Brighter Future: 2025–2030', was compiled to address key societal challenges, including climate change and the increasing demand for natural resources. This will meet the needs of our parent government department, the Department for the Economy, and the wider public sector in Northern Ireland, while also helping to address the challenges affecting Northern Ireland.

The GSNI Strategy is a forward-focused vision for the organisation that will benefit every single citizen in Northern Ireland. This is an ambitious blueprint for driving the geoscience agenda across government and utilising this expert resource to improve the economy, protect the environment and enhance the lives of people in Northern Ireland.
